ISCA Technologies (Riverside, CA) is pleased to announce that it was nominated as a "Start-Up" Category Finalist for the 2003 Achievement In Technical Ingenuity Awards. Organized by UCR CONNECT and IEtechSOURCE, the Achievement In Technical Ingenuity Awards recognizes companies of outstanding vision, ingenuity and dedication that transform technology into new products and companies, enhancing the economic development of the Inland Empire region.

ABOUT THE IEtechSOURCE AND UCR CONNECT

IEtechSOURCE is a program under the Inland Empire Economic Partnership Foundation and is funded by the California Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency and other sponsors. IEtechSOURCE is the premier resource in the Inland Empire to help technology businesses succeed. Creative programs for attracting qualified labor, grant search systems, and presenting to investors are a few of the contributions associated with this organization. UC Riverside CONNECT is committed to attracting intellectual and financial capital to the Inland Empire to foster business growth under the leadership of a unique collaboration between the University of California Riverside and business development resources throughout the Inland Empire. UCR Connect does this by (1) Linking entrepreneurs and emerging companies with capital sources, essential professionals, and university research to expedite technology transfer, (2) Providing highly visible platforms for strategic information and business-to-business networking to foster the growth of existing companies, and (3) Collaborating with other community organizations to harness entrepreneurial energy and streamline the business development cycle. The outcome will be greater opportunities for Inland Empire residents, a deeper employment pool for businesses, and broader economic strength for the Inland Empire.
